Building digital tools that help Ghanaian SMEs run better — one spreadsheet at a time.
I'm Gideon Abochie — a Ghanaian entrepreneur, software engineer, and product builder. I've spent years building digital products for African businesses, and I noticed a recurring problem: most business tools are built for Western markets and don't fit how Ghanaian SMEs actually operate.
So I started building tools that do. Simple, practical, and priced for the local market.
Most small business owners in Ghana still run their operations on paper, WhatsApp notes, or expensive software they barely use. I wanted to change that by building tools that are:
— Affordable (most tools are free or under GHS 50/mo)
— Practical (solves a real daily problem, not a hypothetical one)
— Accessible (works on phone, no complex setup required)
The platform started with the WhatsApp Script Kit — a simple set of pre-written scripts for customer follow-ups. Today, it includes invoicing, quotation, expense tracking, and more. Every tool is shaped by feedback from the people who use them.
I believe Ghanaian businesses don't need complicated software — they need tools that respect how they actually work. A retailer in Makola shouldn't need an ERP system. They need a way to track stock, send invoices, and get paid. That's it.
I also believe the people who use the tools should decide what gets built next. That's why every feature request goes through the voting system — the most-voted ideas get built first, not whatever I think is cool.
I'm also building Ghana's largest business directory — a free, searchable database of verified businesses across the country. I share daily tools, templates, and strategies on social media to help business owners run their operations better.
When I'm not building, you'll find me on X (@GideonAbochie), sharing what I learn about building products for African markets.
